Young Services, Ottumwa Courier, Saturday June 1, 1935 Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Young, 90, who died at 11a.m. Friday, at the home of her grandson, Bert Mace, 710 South Ray street, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Johnson Funeral chapel, the Rev. A.D. McClure, pastor of the Pentecostal Church of God, will officiate. Burial will be made in the Agency Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mrs. Youngs grandsons, Dan Mace, Bert Mace, Lloyd Rockhill, William Bray, Glen Mace and Pete Deitch. Note # 1 Johnson Funeral chapel records state that Mary was born Oct. 15, 1844 in Princeton, Mo. The LDS entry shows her born in 1849 and her parents being married on Jan. 2, 1847. The age given on her marriage license to O.E. Young in 1913 was 64 which would put her birthyear around 1849.
