Read More	Published in the Florida Times-Union on March 15, 2012 FRISBEE Mary Dora Cooper Dortch Frisbee, 92, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 13, 2012. She was born May 10, 1919 to the late Robert and Pauline Cooper in Louisville, Georgia. An active and longtime member of the Middleburg United Methodist Church, she served in many positions including being an officer and Member of the Methodist Women, a conference delegate and Secretary of the Administrative Board. Through the years, she was an active member of the Middleburg Extension Homemakers. Her homemaking skills were award-winning, claiming many blue ribbons at the Clay County Fair. But most of all, Mary was most proud of her large and loving family. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Elvin Mathew Dortch and Joseph Selvyn Frisbee; her sons, Elvin Marion Dortch, Robert David Dortch, Carlton Eugene Dortch; stepdaughters, Judy Ann Frisbee Mahoney, Mary Jane Frisbee; stepson, Joseph Selvyn Frisbee, Jr. (Buddy); and grandson Kip Carlton Dortch. She is survived by her daughter, Jimmy Ruth Dortch Lang (Gene), daughters-in-law, Anna Dortch, Liz Dortch, Vicki Dortch, and Elaine Frisbee; grandchildren, Deborah Blake (Roger), David Dortch (Connie), Matthew Dortch (Donna), Susan Chadwell (Buddy), Sharon Blanton (Jeff), Cathi Keith (Danny), Gayle Tucker (Matthew), Monica Lang, Kelly Dortch (Janice), Karla Moffat (Raymond), Tammy Dortch Lewis (Mark), Keely Cowart (Dave); step-grandchildren, Heather Lee, Erin Mahoney, Sean Frisbee (Laura), Christopher Frisbee (Marissa), Joseph Frisbee (Carmen), and Kim Frisbee; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Services will be held at the chapel at Jacksonville Memory Gardens at 11 am., Friday, March 13, 2012. The family will hold visitation at 10 am., prior to the funeral. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Community Hospice, 422 Sunbeam Road, Jacksonville, Florida, 32257.
