With the exception of three past years spent in Sioux City, Mrs Brown was a lifelong resident of Cherokee County. The daughter of John Tyler and Sarah Bennett Sanger, she was born Oct. 15. 1888 in Silver Township. In 1920, she was married to Darrell E. Brown who preceded her in death on Jan. 17. 1962. Mrs. Brown was a member of Women's Relief Corps and VFW Auxiliary. Survivors include a son, Willard Isenberger of Sioux City; a daughter, Mrs. Marguerite Hulburt of Sioux City; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Two sisters, Mrs Minnie Eubank and Mrs. Maud Wheelock, both of Cherokee, and a brother, Forrest Sanger of Los Angeles, also survive. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ed Sanger, and two sisters. Mrs. Millie Leonard and Mrs. Musa McLaughlin. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p. m. Monday from St. Paul's Methodist Church. Rev. Victor V. Schuldt is to officiate and burial will be in Silver Cemetery. A family prayer service will be held at the church at 1 p. m. Greenwood Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
