Pratt on Nov. 22 1943 in Batavia. She was reared and educated in Seymore, moving to Batavia after her marriage. She was formerly employed by Canteen Luncheon in Ottumwa and Hixson Locker in Batavia for several years. She is survived by her husband; a daughter Joann Mills of Batavia; three sons, David of Batavia, Floyd of Ottumwa and Manly of Floris; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother Glenn Earls of Myrtle Creek, Ore.; and two sisters, Dorothy Burkhardt of Davenport and Beverly Parham of Corydon. She was preceded in death by a son, Glenn; two grandsons; a brother, Jack; and two sisters, Virginia Steel and Maxine Staggs. The service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Calvary Baptist Church in Batavia, the Rev. Thomas Shipley officiating. Burial will be in Batavia Cemetery Ottumwa Courier, Sept. 1993
