Haddock, pastor of the United Brethren Church. officiating. Interment was in the Postville Cemetery. Miss McDaneld was born in Clarence, Missouri, on December 29, 1858, the daughter of A.W. McDaneld and Mary (Worrell) McDaneld. She came to Postville with her parents in 1865. She united with the Methodist Church in Postville when she was 16 years old and was corresponding secretary of the Methodist Women's Foreign Missionary Society for 20 years. Seldon absent from church services, she was faithful i n church work, ever ready to help the needy. Her life was one of faithful service. After the merger of the Methodist Church and Congregational churches, she became affliated with the Community Presbyterian Church. She remained a member until her passing on. Miss McDaneld's parents passed away when she was a small child. To a large degree she assumed the care of her sisters, who she lovingly attended. All who knew her, loved her and she will live long in their memory as a good Christian woman, a good citizen, and a neighbor. Miss McDaneld is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Laura Angell of Postville, Iowa and Mrs. Edith Miner of Lancaster, California, also 2 nieces, Miss Myra Angell of Independence, Iowa and Mrs. William Rolly of Des Moines, Iowa.
