Read More	The Howard Courant Howard, Kansas Thursday, December 30, 1915 page 1 Obituary. Mary E. Rhedefer was born Dec. 11, 1857 in Dekalb county, Indiana. She was married to Loran L. Carver Jan. 1897, who preceded her to eternal home 11 years ago. Sister Carver professed faith in Christ as her Savior in her young womanhood and united with the Baptist church in Indiana. Sister Carver came to Kansas 29 years ago placing her membership in the First Baptist church of this city where she lived a faithful and exemplary member to the time of her death which occurred on Friday Dec. 17, at her home in this city. In her death she leaves one brother and one sister in Washington, one brother and two sisters in Indiana, one sister in Missouri and one sister in this city with a host of friends to mourn the loss of a relative and friend. Her funeral services were held in the First Baptist church of this city, by her pastor O.L. Weir, on Sunday Dec. 19th at 2:30 p.m. and her body was laid to rest in the Grace Lawn cemetery. May the Lord comfort the bereaved. We wish to express our thanks to all those who assisted in any way during the sickness and death of Mrs. Carver. Mrs. Roth Mrs. Drake Mrs. Hamar.
