Her funeral was preached at Southall Chapel, after which her remains were laid to rest in the Hupman cemetery Presbyterian of the South September 22, 1915 Sorrell: At the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lucy Hupman, five miles above Williamsville, on the Cow Pasture river, at 1 o'clock p.m., August 15, 1915, Mrs. Mary E. Sorrell, for several years a member of the Williamsville Presbyterian church, and one of the oldest citizens of Highland county, leaving several children, grandchildren and great grandchildren to mourn their loss and look forward to meeting her in the great beyond.
