Description	:	Seneca, SC – Mary Nix, mother of Sharon Adams and Frances (Frankie) Kelly, died September 15, 2013, at the age of 91. Our Mom, MaMa, and Mother-in-law, had a sweet, sweet spirit and leaves us with the fondest memories. As a loving mother, she nurtured her children, and also cared for her husband and our father, Howard, who died at age 67 and for her son and our brother, Larry, who died at age 52. Read More	Seneca, SC – Mary Nix, mother of Sharon Adams and Frances (Frankie) Kelly, died September 15, 2013, at the age of 91. Our Mom, MaMa, and Mother-in-law, had a sweet, sweet spirit and leaves us with the fondest memories. As a loving mother, she nurtured her children, and also cared for her husband and our father, Howard, who died at age 67 and for her son and our brother, Larry, who died at age 52. After the death of Larry in 2009, Alzheimer's disease began to take its toll on Mother's physical and mental life. However, she continued to maintain her keen vitality and positive outlook on life. We will miss her greatly. Those preceding her in death were her husband, Howard Milton Nix, son Larry Milton Nix, brothers, Lawrence, David, Charles, Loyd, and J. Sam Adams, and parents Bramlett Brooks Adams and Anna Smith Adams. Surviving are daughters, Sharon Nix Adams and husband Sidney Jewell Adams of Seneca, Frances Ann (Frankie) Kelly and husband James Henry Kelly of Central, beloved grandchildren, Casey Elizabeth Lackey and Houston Howard Kelly, precious great-granddaughter, Madison Grace Kelly, sister, Ressie A. Parker, sisters-in-law, Dot G. Adams and Mary N. Adams and many loving nieces and nephews. Our mother loved all flowers and working in her yard. Flowers are welcome. Services will be held 2 PM, Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Return Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Oconee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Monday, September 16, 2013 at Sandifer Funeral Home. The family is at the residence, 546 Tokeena Road, Seneca, SC 29678.
