She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Emmitsburg, Md. and was a retired trimmer for the Emmitsburg Manufacturing Company. She is survived by six children: Robert Thomas Hardman, Emmitsburg, Md.; Mary Louise Baker, Winston-Salem, N.C.; Carol Jean Staub, Emmitsburg, Md.; Janet Marie Cool of Fairfield; Charlotte Ann Kepner of Fairfield; and Joyce Elaine Grinder, Emmitsburg, Md; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Loretta Hardman, Citizens Nursing Home, Frederick, Md.; two brothers, William Bishop of Gettysburg and Charles Bishop of Mechanicsburg; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday with the family meeting at the Skiles Funeral Home in Emmitsburg, to go to Trinity United Methodist Church for a Christian burial service at 10 a.m. Her pastor, the Rev. James H. Farmer, will officiate. Interment will be in the Emmitsburg Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call Friday evening at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, in care of H. Eugene Eyler, 8428 Hemler Road, Thurmont, Md., 21788.
