Read More	Obituary from The St. Clair County Republican, Osceola, St. Clair, MO, Thursday, Apr. 12, 1923: IN MEMORIAM Mrs. Elizabeth Millsapp was born in Lincoln county, Missouri, November 5, 1836, and departed this life at her home March 30, 1923, age eighty-six years, three months and twenty-five days. Her maiden name was Elizabeth Capps, and she was united in marriage with Perry Millsapp June 30, 1853. To this union ten children were born, three having preceded her to the Great Beyond. Three of her children, B. N and T. L. Millsapp and Mrs. Clara Saidow, were at her bedside at the time of her death. Mrs. Millsapp united with the Christian church in 1858 and had lived a consistent christian life since that time. Hers was a gentle, modest personality---so quiet, so retiring that her life can be likened to a peaceful stream that flows through a dense forest, unheeded, almost unnoticed, and yet the source of life of the ferns, the flowers and all the beautiful things that grow upon the banks, retiring though it was, was a source of inspiration to the many lives that touched hers, and with all her modesty and gentleness, there was coupled such a firmness of character that she left her impress upon the life of each one who knew her well. She had been a patient sufferer for about twelve years, during most of that time being confined to her room and the greater part of it to her bed. She frequently expressed her readiness and desire to go to the home where suffering is no more. She appreciated and enjoyed the visits and attention of friends and acquaintances during the weary years passed as an invalid. She had resided in Washington township, St. Clair county, since 1866. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Killingsworth and the remains laid to rest in the Freeman cemetery. Beautiful toiler, thy work is done; Beautiful soul into Glory gone; Beautiful life with thy crown now won God giveth thee rest. Admiring Friend
