Keller married the twice-widowed William Scott Hersperger in the mid- to late 1870s, probably in Frederick County. (Neither the marriage record nor an announcement have been found.) The couple were enumerated in 1880 in Jefferson, Frederick County. After her husband's death in 1887, she continued to live in Jefferson, with her late husband's two youngest and unmarried daughters, Mary ("Molly") and Elizabeth ("Lizzy").
