Mrs. J R. Boomer, 76, was stricken at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Symes, 1505 W. 12th St. She had been living with Mrs. Symes since the death of her husband last Monday at his home in Hartford. Mary Diedrich was born at Long Prairie, Minn., Dec. 25, 1880. She lived in Howard for a few years before moving to Centerville in 1890. A year after her marriage to Mr. Boomer, at Centerville on March 1, 1899, she moved to the Wall Lake vicinity. Mr. and Mrs. Boomer moved to a farm near Hartford in 1912. They moved into Hartford in 1945. Mrs. Boomer was a member of the Hartford Methodist Church, Eastern Star and Rebekah Lodge. Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Symes, Mrs. Gordon Aldrich and Mrs. Allen Nelson, Sioux Falls, and Mrs. Clifford Pippin, Huron; three brothers, Will Diedrich, Aurora; Pete Diedrich, Bushnell, and Nick Diedrich, Stoughton, Wis.; four sisters, Mrs. Catherine Kadinger, Rapid City; Mrs. George Boomer, Killdeer, ND.; Mrs. Henry Gruetznacher, LeCenter, Minn., and Mrs. Oliver Fogelman, Lennox; nine grandchildren, and 10 greatgrandchildren. The body is at the Miller Funeral Home.
