Read More	Mary Elizabeth (Liz) Eppley was born on November 21, 1928 in Kirksville, Missouri, the daughter of Harvey and Fannie (Beeman) Gibson and died on Thursday, October 16, 2002 in Lufkin, Texas. Liz married Lyman Lindy Eppley on June 12, 1948. She was a wife, homemaker, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Lancaster, Missouri until she moved her membership to First United Methodist Church in Lufkin in 1982. She lived most of her life in Lancaster, Missouri. Liz and Lindy moved to Pascagoula and Moss Point, Mississippi in 1976. After Lindy's death in 1980, she moved to Lufkin, Texas in 1982 to be close to her family. She is survived by one son, Lyman Lyndell and his wife, Marsha; one daughter, Connie Sue Eppley; two grandchildren, Sam and Lexie Eppley all of Lufkin, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Nathan S. Gibson; her husband, Lindy; special aunts and uncles and one infant grandson, "Little Christopher". Funeral services for Mary Elizabeth (Liz) Eppley will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 21, 2002 in the Norman Funeral Home in Lancaster, Missouri with visitation prior to the funeral services from noon until time for the funeral service. John McLean, pastor of the Lancaster United Methodist Church will officiate. Organist, Maureen Watkins, will provide music. Special selections will be "I'll Fly Away" and "How Great Thou Art" and 2 taped selections. Pallbearers will be Robert Watkins, Jim Houston, Curly Judd, Pete Gibson, Don Gibson and Martin Minter. Burial will be in the Arni Memorial Cemetery in Lancaster, Missouri. Memorials have been established for the Schuyler County Nutrition Site.
