Born Feb. 10, 1904, in Ararat, Va., she was the daughter of the late Clearn and Loudelia Largen Marshall. Mrs. Mankins was a homemaker, had been a resident of Greenbrier county for 52 years and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude S. Mankins and his wife, Chris, of Centerburg, Ohio; two sisters, Nellie Bowman of Bassett, Va., and Mabel Thompson and her husband, Benton, of Mount Airy, N.C.; a brother, Clinton Marshall of Ararat, Va.; 23 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Longanacre Funeral Home Chapel, Fairlea, with the Rev. Gary Waple officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Cemetery, Lewisburg.
