There are many Kane individuals from Robert's family at Myrtle Grove Memorial Cemetery, and it is believed that this was why after Robert's tragic death while working for the Vance Logging Company in their woods, the Vances placed a fancy memorial grave marker in Section C where Robert's birth family members were already interred.
