Moon, who died 14 years ago, died at 12:10 a.m. today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Barton of Highland township, with whom she had been making her home the last 12 years. Moon, who died 14 years ago, died at 12:10 a.m. today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Barton of Highland township, with whom she had been making her home the last 12 years. She had been in declining health for some time and was seriously ill about 10 days. Born and reared in upper Greenville county, she was the daughter of the late Solomon and Elizabeth Lindsay Pittman. She was the last memberof her immediate family and also the sole surviving charter member ofthe Highland Baptist church. In addition to Mrs. Barton, she is survived by two sons, M.B. Moon and J.L. Moon, 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3:30 pm at the Highland Baptist church, conducted by Rev. Paul Tankersley, Rev. T.E. Reid, and Rev.S.L. McCauley. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ernest, George and Mathias Pittman, and Hoy, Roy and Walter Moon. The honorary escort will be composed of deacons of the Highland church and Dr. E.P Douglas, Dr. T.E. Coleman, I.F. Mitchell, H.L. Tate, G.H. Morrow, Clyde Heath, D.E. Heath and Haskell Turner. The body is at the home.
