She had been a resident of wobble County since 1902 and of Ottumwa for the past 27 years. She had been a resident of wobble County since 1902 and of Ottumwa for the past 27 years. She was born in Thornleigh, England May 16, 1860 the daughter of Hugh and Elizabeth Price and came with them to the United States when she was two years old. She was married to John Davis, December 23, 1888, at Bevier, Missouri. Her husband preceded her in death October 4, 1927. Surviving are four daughters, Genevieve Davis, at home; Mrs. Glenn A. Chilcote, of Ottumwa, and Ruth Davis at home; two brothers, James Price, Centerville, and John Price, Guthrie Center, and two sisters, Mrs. George Orr, Memphis Missouri and Mrs. Ola Baker, Memphis Missouri. Two sons Thomas and Daniel also preceded her in death. Short funeral services will be held Monday at 230 at the residence, 621 W. Mary St., and at the Ottumwa Baptist Temple at 3 PM, in charge of the Rev. Roland C. King pastor of the church. Burial be made in Shaul cemetery. The body will remain at the Johnson funeral Chapel until 5 PM Saturday when it will be taken to the residence.
