Philliber in 1850. To this union were born fifteen children, six of whom, with her husband, preceded her in death. Mrs. Wm. Purvis, formerly of this city, is one of the surviving daughters. Funeral services were held at Shelbina last Wednesday morning, after which the remains were taken to the King graveyard near Leonard for burial. Philliber died Monday, December 25th, 1916, after a week's illness from pneumonia, aged 80 years. She was born July 10, 1836, her maiden name being Mary E. Waite. She was married to Wm. L. Philliber April 11, 1850, and fifteen children were born to their union, six of whom with their father have preceded her to the other world. Funeral services will be held at her late residence in Shelbina at 7:15 this morning, conducted by Rev. Adolph Vollmer and burial will be at King's cemetery 23 miles north of here.
