Mary was born in Lucas, Iowa, on April 30, 1938 and lived in Des Moines, Iowa most of her adult life. Two children, four grandchildren and four great- grandchildren will miss her greatly. While living in Des Moines she worked for the Polk County District Attorney's Office and the Des Moines Public School District. Mary was born in Lucas, Iowa, on April 30, 1938 and lived in Des Moines, Iowa most of her adult life. Two children, four grandchildren and four great- grandchildren will miss her greatly. A gathering to celebrate Mary's life will be held on August 22, 2013 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Paesano's Pizzeria located at 2804 S. W. 9th St., Des Moines, Iowa. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your local Alzheimer's Association.
