She was born October 5, 1916, in Uniontown, the daughter of Benjamin Adelbert "Deb" and Anga Belle Britton Rogers. She was a twin of Ruth Helen. She married Elmo Luther Ramsey on October 4, 1934, in Nevada, Missouri. He preceded her in death on July 6, 2001. She was born October 5, 1916, in Uniontown, the daughter of Benjamin Adelbert "Deb" and Anga Belle Britton Rogers. She was a twin of Ruth Helen. She was a member of the Uniontown United Methodist Church. ..Survivors include two sons, Richard Ramsey and wife, Janice, of Uniontown, and Kenneth Ramsey and wife, Pat, Joplin, Missouri. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Lisa Strangeland, Nevada, Missouri, Jeff Ramsey, Hugoton, Kansas, Cheryl Koppa and Joel Ramsey, both of Fort Scott, Arron Ramsey and Ryan Ramsey, both of Joplin, Missouri; ten great-grandsons, two great-granddaughters, and one great-great-grand-daughter. She is also survived by one sister, Waneta McKinnis, Uniontown, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four sisters, two brothers, one grandson, Christopher Ramsey, and one great-grandson, Ryan C. Campbell. ..Rev. Connie McKee conducted funeral services on Tuesday, February 12, 2002, a the Uniontown Uniontown Methodist Church. The eulogy was given by Jeff Ramsey. Burial was in the Uniontown Cemetery under the direction of Cheney Witt Memorial Chapel. Memorials were suggested to the Uniontown United Methodist Church.
