CAMBRIDGE CITY, Ind., Aug. 14 - Mrs. Mary Ellen Hoover, age 59, wife to Rudolph Hoover, living north of this city, is dead. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adam Shafer, who were killed May 22, 1902, by a Pennsylvania train when driving across the tracks on their way to Newcastle. The husband, two children, Mrs. Dora Ellen Staum, wife of John W. Staum and William Henry Hoover, both of Henry county; a sister, Mrs. Dan Waltz of Newcastle; two brothers, John Shafer and Charles Shafer, farmers of Henry county, and eight children survive.
