On February 15, 1886 she was united in marriage to Thomas Osborn at Reelsville, Ind. To this union seven children were born, three of whom preceded their mother in death. Four children are left to mourn her departure: Omer Osborn, Iola, Kas; Mrs Lola Staines, Okmulgee, Okla.; Thomas E Osborn, St. Louis, Mo., and Mrs Opal Samples, Okmulgee, Okla; ten grandchildren, one great grandchild; two sisters, Josie Reagan, Gallatin, Mo., Eliza Osborn, Fountain, Colo., two brothers, Edward Ward, Iola, Kas., and Vanburen Ward, Gallatin, Mo. Mr and Mrs Osborn came to Iola on February 20, 1904. The family and their comforts were always her first thought. The funeral service was held at the First Christian church Thursday morning at 10 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. J. H. Sowerby, D. D. Burial was made in Highland cemetery. The pallbearers were: Mrs. R. H. Coblentz, Mrs. W. E. Swinford, Mrs Merle Harclerode, Mrs. H. R. Hess, Mrs Clint Ball, and Miss Blanch Ford.
