Description	:	The Mathews Journal, Thurs, June 21, 1923 Mrs. Mary Ellen Weston, aged and highly esteemed resident of this place died at her home near here on yesterday, after a brief illness. The funeral services will be conducted at Central Church tomorrow afternoon, by Rev. G. E. Rood and interment made in the family lot at Kingston. The following will bear the remains to thier last resting place: H. K. Billups, J. W. Matthews, N. S. Weston, Gaius Diggs, C. D. Hudgins and W. M. Minter. Mrs. Weston is the widow of the late N. B. Weston and was 70 yeasr of age at the time of her death. She was a member of St. Paul's Methodist Church and a sincere christian. Her kindly, gracious manner, attractive personality, the bigness of her heart which was evidenced by kindly deeds and her genuine worth of character, all combined to secure not only the esteem but the love of all with whom she came in contact. One son, Mr. Frank T. Weston, and two step-children, Miss Alene Weston and Mrs. Addis Maxton, survive her.
