Born Sept. 5, 1916, in Allerton, IL, she graduated from West Lebanon High School in 1934. Her parents were the late Frank and Delia Whitis DeZarn. Surviving are four sons, Ronald Hensley (wife: Lorma) of Paris, IL, David Hensley (wife: Pamela) of Monticello, Michael Hensley of Birmingham, AL, and Jeffrey Hensley of Clearwater, FL; and two brothers, Pearl "Jim" DeZarn of Decatur, IL, and Benjamin DeZarn (wife: Florence) of Ancona, IL, and Garland, TX. Visitation 1 hour prior to the service at 2 PM Monday at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, J. William Overbay officiating. Internment Tippecanoe Memory Gardens. Eight grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two stepgreat-grandchildren survive. Preceded in death by a son, Norman Hensley; three brothers, Robert, LeRoy and Bert DeZarn; and three sisters, Dortha Moore, Cleo Beason Amick and Martha DeZarn. --Lafayette Journal & Courier - 1/15/2006
