Description	:	Mary Ethel Draughn Inman, age 72, a resident of High Point passed away Monday, March 19, 2012 in Randolph Hospital in Asheboro. She was born on July 18, 1939 in Surry County, NC to the late Arthur Draughn and Agnes Browder Draughn. She was a former employee of Westwood Nursing Home in Archdale and was a member of Colonial Heights Baptist Church. She was a wonderful person and she loved people, she never met a stranger. Read More	Mary Ethel Draughn Inman, age 72, a resident of High Point passed away Monday, March 19, 2012 in Randolph Hospital in Asheboro. She was born on July 18, 1939 in Surry County, NC to the late Arthur Draughn and Agnes Browder Draughn. She was a former employee of Westwood Nursing Home in Archdale and was a member of Colonial Heights Baptist Church. She was a wonderful person and she loved people, she never met a stranger. She loved her Lord and she enjoyed witnessing to others about Jesus Christ and his free Gift of Salvation. She enjoyed collecting ceramic apples and shopping. She would speak her mind and let you know what she thought. In addition to her parents preceding her in death was a daughter, Donna Inman, a son Carl Inman, her brother, Otis Draughn, and 2 grandchildren, Jerry Lynn Steffey, and Timothy Wayne Inman. On July 3, 1961, she was married to Phillip R. Inman, he survives of the home. Also surviving are 2 sons, Douglas Ray Inman and Phillip Andrew Inman of the home, 2 sisters, Annie Mae Jones of Mt. Airy, and Glenda Hunt of High Point, a brother, Robert Draughn and his wife Wanda of Siloam. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A service to celebrate Mary's life will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, March 22, 2012 in the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale with Brother David Jones, Brother Charles Williams and Brother Don Collins officiating. Burial will follow in Faith Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6 until 8 pm and other times will be at the residence. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mary's memory may be sent to Colonial Heights Baptist Church Building Fund, 808 Hendrix Street, High Point, NC 27263.
