Mrs. Lawson was born in Stokes County, Feb. 18, 1925, to Manuel Pinkley and Emma Lelia Caudle Brown. She was retired from Spencer's Inc. and attended Flat Top Primitive Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Gary Martin of Mount Airy; two sons and a daughter-in-law, William Carlis Lawson of the home, and Donald and Pam Lawson of Lowgap; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a brother and sister-in-law, Curtis and Frances Brown of Lowgap....
