Born on Oct. 27, 1911, in Friendsville, she was a daughter of the late Isaac and Kate (Fearer) Frazee. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Oakey Hoff on Dec. 29, 1980; and one daughter, Martha Bishoff on Sept. 1, 1982. Mrs. Hoff was a member of the Asher Glade Church of the Brethren and was a homemaker. She is survived by one daughter, Marlene Carr, Friendsville; one brother, Glenn Frazee, Friendsville; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 943 Second Ave., Friendsville, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Sand Spring Church of God with the Rev. Nevin Umbel officiating. Interment will be in Asher Glade Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to Hospice of Garrett County. (Transcribed by Ronn E. Friend)
