Elgin Echo July 19, 1923 Front Page HAPPILY MARRIED A very pretty wedding took place in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Peters of Brainard Sunday morning, July 8, when their daughter Mary, was given in marriage to Mr. Walter Pritchard, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Pritchard. Rev. Barker of West Union was the officiating clergyman and the double ring ceremony was exemplified as the two young people took the vows that bound them for life. The bride was attended by Estella Peters with George Stansberry Jr., as best man. The ceremony was witnessed by none but immediate relatives and close friends of the contracting parties. After the words that made them husband and wife had been spoken the bride and groom were recipients of best wishes and congratulations of the members of the wedding party. The bride is a charming young lady and has the personality and traits of character that makes her popular and beloved by all with whom she comes in contact. The groom is a young man of exemplary habits, industrious and honest. With the many friends of both the bride and groom, the Echo joins in extending best wishes and congratulations.
