IOWA ENTIRE LIFE Mrs. Mary McKim, 34 times a grandmother and 42 times a great grandmother, died Wednesday at the home of her son, Fred, 2224 Roemer Street. Mrs. McKim was 79 years old. Her home was on Albia Route 2. She was the daughter of Jesse and Cynthia Fisher, born in Jefferson County, February 3, 1862. She had lived in southeaster Iowa all her life. Surviving are two sons, Fred of Ottumwa and Pearl of Knoxville, a daughter, Mrs. C. A. Foster, Albia, route 2; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Daggett of Hedrick and Mrs. Martha LaMar of Mt. Pleasant; a brother, Albert Fisher of Blakesburg, route 2, and the 34 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren. Her husband, Mathias Wollen McKim died August 11, 1936. Two children also preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Selection Church, four miles southeast of Albia. The Rev. A. D. McClure will be in charge Burial will be at the Selection Cemetery. The body will be at the Johnson Funeral Chapel until noon Friday. Grandsons will serve as pall bearers.
