| Description | : | Fannie Arbuthnot came to Iowa from Pennsylvania with her husband, Carson W. Arbuthnot and children sometime between 1850 and 1853. In 1859 her husband and sons left her in Iowa for their searched for gold in the Gold Hill area of Boulder County, Colorado (what was Nebraska Territory in their day). By 1870, Fannie was in Boulder, Colorado living with her husband. She left her husband in Boulder and returned to the home of her youngest daughter in Iowa where she died.
