Description	:	Mary Francis Agnew-Johnson, 76, a long time resident of the Wenatchee Valley, died January 30, 2005, at her home in East Wenatchee. She was born in Belzona, Mississippi August 1, 1928, to Perry and Anne Brummet. She received early education in Mississippi. She married Clint Agnew on September 24, 1943. In 1945, Clint and Mary Francis relocated to Peshastin, where they made their home for 31 years and ran the family orchard. Read More	Mary Francis Agnew-Johnson, 76, a long time resident of the Wenatchee Valley, died January 30, 2005, at her home in East Wenatchee. She was born in Belzona, Mississippi August 1, 1928, to Perry and Anne Brummet. She received early education in Mississippi. She married Clint Agnew on September 24, 1943. In 1945, Clint and Mary Francis relocated to Peshastin, where they made their home for 31 years and ran the family orchard. Mary had a variety of occupations including working in the local warehouses, she worked selling Avon and he worked for the Peshastin-Dryden school district while working in the family orchard. Some of her favorite hobbies and interests included a longtime member of the Peshastin United Church of Christ, where she taught Sunday school and was active in the women's fellowship. Mary loved to work in her garden, go camping and fishing and she loved to travel. After the passing of Clint, Mary Francis met Courtney Johnson in 1986, when enjoying a trip to the East Coast. They were later married August 1, 1987. Mary shared her life with Courtney 6 months a year in Woodland Hills, CA and 6 months a year at their home in East Wenatchee. Mary and Courtney traveled abroad to Russia, Ukraine, Holland, Spain and they enjoyed extensive traveling within the United States. Mary Francis is survived by 4 children, Joyce Quiton (Jim), Ken Agnew, Linda Stephenson (Rob), Phil Agnew (Maria). She is also survived by Barbara Agnew and Michelle Agnew. She has 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren along with her brother, Calvin Brummet (Mamie) of Florence, Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Clint Agnew and Courtney Johnson; her daughter, Norma Jean Agnew; her nephew, Patrick Agnew; her grandson, John Quiton; and her great-grandson, Tyler Johnson. Mary Francis loved and cherished all of her family. She was a loving and caring mother and she was forever welcoming to all of her grandchildren and extended family. The family wishes to thank all the care givers who loved, helped and supported Mary Francis through her illness. A Graveside Service will be held Friday, February 4, 2005, at 1 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park. A Memorial Service will follow at the Valley View Seventy Day Adventist Church, 1201 10th St, East Wenatchee. The casket will remain closed at all times. Those who wish may make memorials to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are by Telford's Chapel of the Valley, East Wenatchee.
