She worked at General Motors for 30 years before retiring on August 1, 2002 and had also worked at Sears and W.T. Grant. Read More	Mary Frances McClish, 67, Kokomo, passed away at 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday, December 18, 2019, at Community Howard Regional Health in Kokomo. She was born August 7, 1952, in Las Vegas, Nevada, to Charles W. and Frances Ann (Clark) McClish, Sr. Mary graduated from Taylor High School in 1970. She worked at General Motors for 30 years before retiring on August 1, 2002 and had also worked at Sears and W.T. Grant. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc where she was active in the Sunshine Club, serving funeral dinners and working at the St. Vincent de Paul Store. She was also a member of the Lunch Bunch. Mary was generous, thoughtful, and a great encourager. She will always be remembered for her thoughtful notes of encouragement, sending cards to friends and family for every occasion. Survivors include her brother, Charles (Jo Dee) McClish, Jr.; sister, Karen McClish-Abney; and nephews, Chuck (Amanda) McClish, Timothy McClish, Tyler (Mimi) McClish, and Colt (Emily) McClish; niece, Stephanie Burton; and several great nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Steven McClish; and brother-in-law, Carl “David” Abney. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, December 23, 2019 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 3155 S. 200 W., Kokomo, with Rev. Father Matthew Arbuckle the celebrant. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family from Noon to 1:30 p.m. on Monday at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mary’s memory to the St. Joan of Arc Building Fund or to the charity of one’s choice. Messages of condolence may be left online at www.shirleyandstout.com. Shirley & Stout Funeral Home, Kokomo, has been entrusted with arrangements.
