Description	:	MOUNT AIRY, NC ~ Mrs. Mary Hall Martin, 76, of Mount Airy, widow of Mr. Lewis Avent Martin, died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2001, at the Surry Community Nursing Center in Mount Airy. Mrs. Martin was born Oct. 15, 1925, in Surry County to the late Thomas Leonard and Doris Agnes Monday Hall. She was retired from Sprint/Centel as a phone operator and was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church. Read More	MOUNT AIRY, NC ~ Mrs. Mary Hall Martin, 76, of Mount Airy, widow of Mr. Lewis Avent Martin, died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2001, at the Surry Community Nursing Center in Mount Airy. Mrs. Martin was born Oct. 15, 1925, in Surry County to the late Thomas Leonard and Doris Agnes Monday Hall. She was retired from Sprint/Centel as a phone operator and was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church. Surviving are three daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Roger Lynch of King, Pam and Hank Miller of Palm Coast, Fla., and Lynn and Junior Seivers of Pilot Mountain; three sons and daughters-in-law, George Martin of Mountain Home, Idaho, Tom and Marie Martin of Topsail Beach and Richard and Debbie Martin of Mount Airy; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Hall, of Mount Airy, and three brothers, Carroll and Violet Hall of Cana, Va., Gary and Lou Hall of Mount Airy and Phil and Jenny Hall of Mount Airy. The funeral service will be held on Monday, Dec. 31, 2001 at 11 a.m. at Holy Angel Catholic Church, conducted by Father Erik Kowalski, with burial to follow in Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will be meeting at the home of her sister, Barbara Hall, Jackson St., Mount Airy, N.C. Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy is serving the Martin family.
