Mrs. Dove was a resident of Columbus, NM for the past 19 years, but for a short time lived with her youngest daughter in Georgia until her passing. Irene was born May 18, 1935, in Portland, Oregon to the late Daniel and Mary Jane Arndd Piesik. Married to Jack E. Dove from Anacoco, Louisiana on June 30, 1952, they spent 50 years of marriage together before he preceded her in death in 2002. Also preceding her in death was daughter Sherremma Simone Dove (4yrs). Irene was born May 18, 1935, in Portland, Oregon to the late Daniel and Mary Jane Arndd Piesik. Married to Jack E. Dove from Anacoco, Louisiana on June 30, 1952, they spent 50 years of marriage together before he preceded her in death in 2002. Also preceding her in death was daughter Sherremma Simone Dove (4yrs). Irene is survived by her two daughters and one son-in-law; son and daughter-in-law of Griffin, GA.; Four grandchildren: and Six great-grandchildren. Irene was a hard worker who had many jobs in her lifetime. With her husband Jack, she drove an 18-wheeler between GA and CA for nine years. She was very fond of Chinese pugs and raised several over the years. She had a big heart and a giving spirit and she truly loved Jesus. You will be greatly missed, Mom and Grandma. Graveside service were Tuesday, Sept. 3, at Beech Grove Methodist Church, Highway 111, in Anacoco, Louisiana, Rev. William Jones officiated. Services were under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
