Description	:	Mary Isabel Town of Center died of smoke inhalation as her home burned. She was 74. She was born in Tacoma to Jack and Grace Clara (Yarr) Neudorfer. At 13, she and her family moved to the Yarr estate. Aside from two years at Seattle University, she spent the rest of her life in the Chimacum area. While working as a secretary at Indian Island Naval Magazine, she met Don McClellan, whom she married and later divorced. She married Thomas Rodney Town on Feb. 1, 1971. She was 74. She was born in Tacoma to Jack and Grace Clara (Yarr) Neudorfer. At 13, she and her family moved to the Yarr estate. Mrs. Town worked at the former Fort Worden Correctional Facility for many years, then retired from the Department of Health and Social Services in Port Townsend. Mrs. Town, who enjoyed activities with her family and grandchildren, was also passionate about her Roman Catholic faith and Native American heritage. During their 35 years together, she and her husband made many road trips to Reno and the coast. She also liked to play cribbage and collect antiques. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Town is survived by son and daughter-in-law David and Leslie McClellan of Great Falls, Mont.; daughter Patti McClellan of San Diego; brother and sister-in-law Tom and Jan Neudorfer of Port Angeles; and three grandchildren. Services: Held July 15 in St. Mary Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, Port Townsend. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery, Chimacum. The Rev. Raymond Heffernan officiated.
