Description	:	The funeral of Mrs Mary Schaefer was held in the Farmington Lutheran church last Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock conducted by her pastor the Rev E.C. Pardieck, Miller Funeral home in charge Mary Jahnecke, eldest daughter of Frederick and Engel Weseloh Jahncke was born in Hanover, Germany on January 31, 1864. As an infant she came to America with her grandparents Mr and Mrs Henry Weseloh. Later she was adopted by Mr and Mrs Henry Stier and grew up in the neighborhood of Farmington. As an infant she came to America with her grandparents Mr and Mrs Henry Weseloh. Later she was adopted by Mr and Mrs Henry Stier and grew up in the neighborhood of Farmington. In 1881 she was married to William Schaefer and to this union were born seven children. One son died in infancy. Those remaining are Henry C. Schaefer of Sedalia MO, Will A Schaefer of Farmington. Otto F. Schaefer of Detroit, Wayne, MI, George E. Schaefer of Fort Worth, TX, Mrs Anna O'Connell of St Louis and Mrs Frieda Detring of Farmington. These are also 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. After the death of her husband who passed away on September 29, 1934, she moved to Farmington where she could be near her church of which she was a very faithful member. When her health began to fail she stayed in the home of several children where she was given the very best of loving care. She passed away at the home of her son, Will, just sough of Farmington on Wednesday afternoon, having reached the ripe old age of nearly 86 years. Her body rests in the Lutheran Cem
