Landrum, Dec. 26. - Last rites for Mrs. MARY JANE FARMER, who died at 6 a.m. today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R. B. MORROW of Landrum, after having been in declining health seven years will be conducted Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the Landrum Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Landrum Cemetery. Besides the daughter at whose home she died, Mrs. FARMER is survived by two other daughters, Mrs. EULA DURHAM and Mrs. ELBERT WEST; four sons, OSCAR, WALTER, ERNEST AND CLYDE FARMER; and three half-sisters, Mrs. ETTA THOMPSON, Mrs. ILA LYNCY and Mrs. EFFIE EVATT. Mrs. FARMER, who was the widow of COLUMBUS FARMER, was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church near Landrum. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. THOMAS BOWERS. The Rev. T. E. REID, the Rev. R. G. CUDD and the Rev. BOYD TURNER will officiate at the funeral. Active pallbearers will be VIRGIL and VARDREY HOWARD, BEATTY BROWN, BEN TURNER, C. B. MORROW and G. C. WOFFORD. Honorary pallbearers will be; C. C. SETTLE, J. C. BOWEN, BUD BARTON, L. K. HINES, W. S. HEAVINER, L. A. WEST, B. F. THOMPSON, L. G. LANDRUM. N. H. DANIEL and FRED S. JACKSON. The body is at the home of Mrs. MORROW. The Petty Funeral Home of Landrum is in charge of the arrangements for the final rites.
