She was born at Springfield, Summit county, Ohio, January 7th, 1831; was married to Bro. Roswell G. Thomas, September 9th, 1852. She became a member of the Baptist Church in the spring of 1853; united with the Methodists in 1874, and was baptized into the Reorganized Church of Christ by Asa S. Cochran, July 27th, 1890.
