Mary was born Sept. 29, 1926, in Beemer to Floyd and Bertha (Asch) Brown. She was baptized, confirmed, and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Beemer. Mary was born Sept. 29, 1926, in Beemer to Floyd and Bertha (Asch) Brown. She was baptized, confirmed, and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Beemer. Mary graduated from Beemer High School in 1944. She married Merle Warner on Oct. 19, 1947. He died Aug. 14, 1982. She worked at the post office in Beemer for many years until her retirement in August 1991. Survivors include: a sister, Laverne Nordin of Springfield, Mo.; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brothers, Dwane, Richard and Floyd Brown; and sisters, Hazel Liebe and Sylvia Cruse. The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. John's Lutheran Church in Beemer. Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. Sunday at Minnick Funeral Home in Beemer and will continue from 9 a.m. to service time Monday at the church. Burial will be in Beemer Cemetery.
