Read More	dau of Rodney King and Julia Rowley wed 27 Feb 1872 Levi Adams ----------------- Bedford Times-Press Thursday September 21, 1939 p. 8 Mrs. Mary Jane Adams Mary Jane King, daughter of Rodney and Julia King, was born in Taylor County, Iowa, June 11, 1857, and died at her home, Tuesday, Sept. 12, 1939, at the age of 82 years, 3 months and one day. She became a member of the Christian Church at the age of ten years. On Feb. 27, 1872, she was married to Levi Adams. To this union seven children were born: two daughters and five sons, all of whom are living. They are [John] Manford Adams and Julia Brown of New Market, [Levi] Wiley Adams of Gravity, Bessie Farrell of Sheridan, Mo., Jess Adams of New Bern, Oregon, Wm. Adams and Clarence Adams, who still reside at the home near Gravity. She leaves to mourn, the seven children, 25 grandchildren, and 38 great grandchildren. Also one brother, Marion Luellen, of Bedford. Her husband preceded her in death thirteen years ago. She also had five sisters and one brother, all of whom passed on before her. The funeral services were held at the Christian church in New Market, Thursday afternoon, conducted by Rev. C. Max Buck of Bedford. Burial was in Memory cemetery. submitted by: InSearchOf #47282406
