'''''''''''' Ulysses Dispatch (Ulysses, Nebr.), June 27, 1940, p. 5 ,col. 3 Mrs. Mary Kenney Mary Jane Lunney, the second daughter of Mary Jane and Laughlin Lunney was born December 11, 1858 in Providence, Rhode Island and while a small child she came with her parents to Bloomington, Illinois, where she grew to womanhood, and was united in marriage to Daniel Kenney. They came west to Iowa and lived there six years, later coming to Nebraska where she lived till her death which occurred suddenly and unexpectedly June 19, 1940, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jake Klein, with whom she had made her home since January. She had reached the age of 81 years 6 months and 8 days. She leaves to mourn her loss, one daughter, three sons, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; one sister of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and one brother, of Chicago, Illinois. Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 22, 1940 at 9:30 o'clock, at St. Mary's Catholic church in Ulysses, conducted by Rev. M. F. Downey, the pastor.
