Cecil Miller officiated and burial was in Riverside Cemetery. Mary Jane Stewart was born June 18, 1883 in Martinez, Calif., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Stewart. The family lived in Audubon, Iowa and in 1901 moved to Mitchell. She was married to Walter Guy Gorham, Feb. 3, 1904. In 1918 the couple moved to a farm north of Huron where her husband died in 1928. Cecil Miller officiated and burial was in Riverside Cemetery. Mary Jane Stewart was born June 18, 1883 in Martinez, Calif., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Stewart. Mrs Gorham was a member of the First Methodist Church in Huro. She is survived by three sons, Carl, Albert,both of Huron; Walter (Jim), Napa, Calif.; four daughters, Mrs W. A. Stevens, Mrs Al Bergeson, Mrs. George Conrad, all of Huron; and Agnes Gorham, Portland, Ore,; one brother, John Stewart, Forest Grove, Ore.; one sister, Mrs. Lulu Kehr, St. Paul, Minn.; 15 grandchildren, Nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, one infant son, two grandsons, her parents, two brother and two sisters.
