She was born on November 2, 1920, in Luray, Virginia to Julian and Olive Rose Price. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband of 23 years, William Gordon Mangus Sr., and her second husband of 31 years, Winton Carlisle Fisher. Read More	Mary Jane Price Mangus Fisher, 95, of Stanley, Virginia, passed away in the early morning hours of June 5, 2016. She was born on November 2, 1920, in Luray, Virginia to Julian and Olive Rose Price. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband of 23 years, William Gordon Mangus Sr., and her second husband of 31 years, Winton Carlisle Fisher. Left to cherish her glorious memories are her three sons and their families, Gene Fisher (Betsy) and children Lynn (Tom) and Paul of Winchester, Cary Mangus (Jeanne) and children Chip and Scott (Buffy) of Roanoke, and Bill Mangus and children Trey (Ferrell) and Rob (Emily). In addition, there are 11 great-grandchildren who have been immensely blessed by being in her presence and receiving her warmth and love, Fisher and Hannah Mangus; Reese, Avery and Mallory Mangus; Liam and Winston Mangus; and Retzler and Robert Mangus. Jane’s legacy is and always will be one of faith in her Lord. The years as a Sunday school teacher, the years as a member of her choir, her Walk to Emmaus are just a few examples of her life of that faith. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at the family home at 305 Riverdale Farm Road in Stanley. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Stanley Baptist Church with interment at St. Luke Lutheran Church Cemetery in Stanley. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Stanley Baptist Church at 730 E. Main St., Stanley, VA 22851, or to St. Luke Lutheran Church at 6457 Leaksville Road, Stanley VA 22851.
