Services will be held on Friday at 3 p.m. at Secrest Grove Baptist Church, of which she was a member, conducted by the Rev. Robert Lee Shotts and the Rev. Joe Haskett. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The deceased will lie in state in the sanctuary 30 minutes prior to the funeral hour. Surviving are three sons, James L. Helms of Monroe, Otis Helms of Rock Hill, S. C, Willie Helms of Waxhaw and step-son, Don Helms of Waxhaw; four daughters, Mrs. Grat Springs, Mrs. Albert Helms, Mrs. Kathleen Hinson, all of Monroe, Mrs. Bruce Rowell of Rock Hill, S. C., and a step-daughter, Mrs. Clarence Eason of Matthews; one sister, Mrs. H. B. Polk of Charlotte; 23 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
