She retired from Cogsdill Tool and was a faithful member of Union Baptist Church. Mrs. Martin was a devoted, wife, mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother who cherished the time spent with her family. Surviving are her husband, John Mathew “Buck” Martin; daughters, Mary Ruth Johnson (Charles) of Elgin and Johnnie Anne Crocker (Lou) of Elgin; sisters, Ruth Coyle of Jacksonville, N.C. and Tammy O’Quinn White of Elgin; 5 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers, Robert Wayne O’Quinn, Willie Lee O’Quinn and Henry Dwight O’Quinn.
