Mary was born at Blue Rapids, KS on October 25, 1927 to Russell and Grace (Pollock) Fincham. Mary was a homemaker and loved to cook, bake, work fill-in puzzles, raise a garden and grow flowers. She married Lawrence Johnson and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, Dave Johnson; a granddaughter, Valorie; sister and brother-in-law, Marg and Joe Reed; brothers and sister-in-laws, James and Marilyn Fincham, Raymond and Janice Fincham; and half-sister, Sandra Cook. Survivors include her daughters, Ruth (Earl) Oldehoeft, KS; Rose Ann (Ralph) Spier, NE, LaVerne (Lynn) Heath, KS, Mary Lee (Warren) Drinkgren, KS, Carla Johnson, NE, Linda (Gary) Crome, KS; grandchildren, Paul Oldehoeft, Mike Oldehoeft, Ron Spier, Russ Spier, Ray Spier, Lance Heath, Lynette Heath, Larissa Heath, Kaleb Drinkgren, Curtis Johnson, Todd Crome, and Scott Crome; and great grandchildren, Luke, Megan, Drew , Colin Taylore, Aron , Jessie, Mallory and Lissy Ethan, Gwyn, Levi, Nicole, Dillon, Cody, Alex, Ashley, Brett, Garrett, Kali Jo and Gunnar. A memorial fund has been established and contributions may be sent in care of Kinsley Mortuary, Marysville. The Hanover News/March 17, 2017/pg 3 SAC change from Plumer to Pollock on Mary's mother's maiden name. Also survivor grandchild Kaleb probably spelled Drinkgern instead of Drinkgren.
