She was born June 1, 1922, in Clio to Willis and Maude Hill. She married Ernest (sic) King in April of 1946. He died Sept. 17, 1970. She had lived in Bussey the past 37 years and previously had lived in Marysville. She had last worked for Gilbert Funeral Home in Bussey. She was a member of United Methodist Church and a member of the Order of Eastern Star and Rebekah Lodge. She is survived by a daughter, Rena Crawford of Ankeny, a son, George of Des Moines; two step-daughters, Marcelia (sic) Clark of Bussey and Rosella Chitty of Nevada; 13 grandchildren; and a brother, Judd Hill of Phoenix. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Dennis; a daughter, jean; two grandchildren; and four sisters. The service will be 1 p.m. Monday at United Methodist Church in Bussey, the Rev. Ray Stauffer officiating, and burial will be in Gullion Cemetery near Attica. Visitation will be 3 p.m. today at Gilbert Funeral Home in Bussey.
