Jaworski, passed away at the home of her son, Charles Eurek, four miles from Cedar Rapids, Neb., at 1 p.m. yesterday. Death was due to complications incident to her advanced age. She had been ill about three months. Funeral services will be held at the Catholic church at Cedar Rapids tomorrow at 10 a.m. and burial will be made in the parish cemetery there. Mrs. Jaworski and son, Tom Jaworski, will drive to Cedar Rapids to attend the funeral. Mrs. Bogatz was a native of Poland. Her marriage to Thomas Eurek took place there nearly 70 years ago. They came to America more than 40 years ago, locating on a farm in Polk county, south of Duncan. About 25 years ago they moved from the farm to a home in Columbus. Her first husband passed away 18 years ago and two years later she was married to Michael Bogatz. Mr. Bogatz’ death occurred about three years later. For 10 years, Mrs. Bogatz made her home with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. C. S. Jaworski, here, prior to two and a half years go when she went to live with her son at Cedar Rapids. She leaves three sons and three daughters, all the issue of her first marriage – Michael and John Eurek, of Loup City; Charles, of Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Frank Podraza, of Omaha, Mrs. Frank Bonk and Mrs. Jaworski, of Columbus. ____ The Columbus [Nebr.] Daily Telegram, December 22, 1926, p. 2, col. 2 CEDAR RAPIDS Mrs. Mary Bogatz died Sunday afternoon at 1 o’clock at the home of her son, Stanley Eurek, 6 miles southwest of Cedar Rapids, at the age of 93. Death was due to complications incident to her advanced age. She leaves three daughters and three sons to mourn her loss. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock from St. Anthony’s church. Requiem mass was celebrated by Father Vermullen. Funeral services were held at the St. Anthony Church Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock and interment made in the parish cemetery.
