She was born January 27, 1926 at Ashdown, Arkansas. She was a farmer, a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Wilton. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Fletcher Pickens Sr. and Aubrey McClendon; her parents, Maggie Sharp and Fred Hedgecock; one sister, Margaret Seybold and one brother, Billy Hedgecock. She is survived by four children, Mary Ann Neely and her husband Murray of De Queen; Evelyn Cunningham and her husband Steve of Lockesburg, Arkansas; Nancy Fuller and her husband Richard of Jenks, Oklahoma; and Fletcher Pickens Jr. and his wife Earline of Lockesburg; seven grandchildren, Mary Katherine Runnels, William Cunningham, Christina Fuller, Kevin Cunningham, Jessica Paroubek, Jeremy Fuller and Haley Pickens; one great grandchild, Eli Cunningham. Graveside Funeral Services for Mrs. McClendon will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 3, 2010 in the Bellville Cemetery with Rev. Ray Reynolds officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in DeQueen.
