Description	:	Mary Leticia (aka Luticia) Burris - Hefner was the first wife of Lee R. (Roy) Hefner 1907-1977. Although her grave stone says she was born in 1909 she was actually born in 1908- per WV birth records. The confusion may lie in her separation from her mother and siblings when she was placed into foster care after her father Wiley Norman Burris (1882-1912) was killed in a B&O Railroad accident during a severe storm near Moundsville, WV in July, 1912. She died of TB after remarrying to a man named Burley Howard in 1914.
